Cafe Barista

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our FOH team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages and smoothies, as well as providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Experience as a cashier and/or familiarity with Toast POS system
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation, such as running food or drink orders and plating pastries
• Experience with operating an espresso machine is a plus
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Cafe Kitchen Associate

Briggs Cafe is seeking a dedicated and passionate person to join our BOH team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic knife skills and cooking techniques, and ability to assist with food preparation (i.e. chopping, cutting, and measuring ingredients)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, oven cleaning, etc.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures and must be 18+ to operate the ovens
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Duties will include:
  • Food preparation
  • Assembly and cooking of breakfast & lunch menu items
  • Stocking and cleaning of kitchen appliances/dishware
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and stocking of the kitchen area, ovens, workspaces, etc.

Yard Department Associate

– Plant knowledge preferred

– Tree/Shrub maintenance and care

– Assist customers in Tree/Shrub sales and purchases

– Help customers with any Tree/Shrub gardening questions/concerns

– Valid Drivers License
